Sensei Peter Savoy is available to teach seminars for Dojos or organizations and is also available for private instruction for martial arts instructors.

Sensei Savoy is qualified to teach the following topics:

Okinawan Goju-Ryu Karate-Do (Jundokan)

Junbi Undo (Goju-Ryu warm up exercises)

Hojo Undo (Makiwara, Chiishi, Nigiri Game, Ishi Sashi, Tan, Sashi Ishi & Kongo Ken)

Kihon (basics)

Kata (Sanchin (1) & (2), Gekisai Dai Ichi, Gekisai Dai Ni, Saifa, Seiyunchin, Shisochin, Sanseru, Sepai, Kururunfa, Sesan, Suparinpei & Tensho)

Bunkai (applications for all Goju-Ryu Kata)

Kakie (push hands)

Yakusoku Kimite (pre-arranged sparring)

Lecture (Goju-Ryu Karate-Do history)

 

Matayoshi Kobudo

Weaponry (Bo, Nunchaku, Sai, Tonfa, Kama, Iyaku, Nunti, Kuwa, Tinbe & Suruchin)

Kobudo Hojo Undo (basics for all of the above weaponry)

Kata (for all of the above weaponry except Suruchin)

Bunkai (for all Kata)

Yakusoku Kimite (for all of the above weaponry)

How to properly perform, apply, break out of holds and/or defend against the following:

Ukemi (break falls & rolls)

Kote Waza (wrist locking techniques)

Kansetsu Waza (arm breaking techniques)

Shime Waza (choke holds)

Yubi Waza (finger techniques)

Nage Waza (throwing)

 

Largo Mano Escrima

Concepts of striking, blocking, countering, Cinquo Taros, use of the checking hand, double hand techniques, reinforced techniques, fanning techniques, umbrella techniques, disarming techniques, various block & counter drills, Sinawali and Redonda.
